1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, and payment information.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering at the Sites or Apps, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when participating in activities on the Sites or Apps (such as posting messages in our online forums or entering competitions, contests or giveaways) or otherwise contacting us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Sites or Apps, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:

  • Name and Contact Data. We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, and other similar contact data.

  • Payment Data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. Information collected through our Apps

In Short: We may collect information regarding your mobile device, push notifications, when you use our apps.

If you use our Apps, we may also collect the following information:

  • Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's calendar, contacts, email, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.
  • Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the mobile application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.
  • We collect your mobile phone number when you provide it voluntarily through our Sites or Apps. This number is used to send you messages related to your account, services, and other communications you have opted into.
  • AI Processing: When you use certain features of our service your data may be processed through third-party AI services like OpenAI. This data is processed securely and is not retained or used by these AI services for any further purposes, including model training.
Information related to Leverage Payments

When you use our Leverage Payments service, we collect additional information necessary for financial transactions and underwriting purposes. This may include:

  • Financial information such as bank account details, credit history, and transaction history
  • Business information such as company financials, tax identification numbers, and credit scores
  • Information about your suppliers and customers, as necessary for the facilitation of payments and financing
Information collected from other sources

In Short: We may collect limited data from public databases, marketing partners, and other outside sources.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, as well as from other third parties. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include: social media profile information; marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links).

Information collected from Google APIs

If our application requests access to data from Google APIs that fall under sensitive or restricted scopes, we will only use that data in strict compliance with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We will not use this data for any purpose other than providing the specific service or feature for which the data was requested. We do not share, sell, or use this data for any advertising purposes.

Information collected from Microsoft Azure SSO

If our application requests access to data through Microsoft Azure Single Sign-On (SSO), such as user profile information, authentication tokens, or other related data, we will only use that data in strict compliance with Microsoft’s privacy and data protection requirements. We will not use this data for any purpose other than providing the specific service or feature for which the data was requested. We do not share, sell, or use this data for any advertising purposes.

2. How do we use your information?

In Short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

We use personal information collected via our Sites or Apps for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.

We use the information we collect or receive:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process. If you choose to link your account with us to a third party account *(such as your Google or Facebook account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences. You can opt-out of our marketing emails at any time (see the " WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS " below).
  • To send administrative information to you. We may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • Fulfill and manage your orders. We may use your information to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Sites or Apps.
  • To post testimonials. We post testimonials on our Sites or Apps that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and testimonial.   • To respond to legal requests and prevent harm. If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to respond.

  • AI Service Functionality. We use third-party AI services, such as OpenAI, to perform specific tasks like document parsing and summarization. Data processed through these AI services is only used for the specific task and is not retained or used for AI model training or further analysis.
  • To facilitate financial transactions and underwriting through our Leverage Payments service
  • To share necessary information with our Finance Partners for the purpose of providing financing options
  • To comply with financial regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) requirements
Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means that data obtained from Google APIs will only be used for the purpose directly related to the functionality of our application and will not be used for any unrelated purposes such as advertising, analytics, or other forms of data sharing.

Compliance with Microsoft Azure SSO Privacy Requirements

Our use of information received from Microsoft Azure SSO will adhere to Microsoft’s privacy and data protection requirements. This means that data obtained from Microsoft Azure SSO will only be used for the purpose directly related to the functionality of our application and will not be used for any unrelated purposes such as advertising, analytics, or other forms of data sharing.

Use of Mobile Phone Numbers

We use your mobile phone number solely for providing the services you have opted into, such as sending account-related notifications, service updates, and other relevant communications. We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You have the right to opt out of receiving these messages at any time by following the instructions in the message or by contacting us directly.

3. Financial Information and Leverage Payments

The financial information we collect through Leverage Payments is treated with the utmost care and security. We implement strict data protection measures to safeguard this sensitive information.

  • We only collect financial information that is necessary for the provision of Leverage Payments services.
  • Financial information is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
  • Access to financial information is strictly limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • We retain financial information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your financial information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain information.

We do not sell your financial information to third parties. Any sharing of financial information is done solely for the purpose of providing Leverage Payments services or as required by law.

  • Third-Party AI Services. We may share data with third-party AI service providers, such as OpenAI, to enable certain functionalities within our platform. These AI services process the data for specific tasks and do not retain or use the data for any purposes outside the intended functionality, such as training AI models.
  • Other Users. When you share personal information (for example, by posting comments, contributions or other content to the Sites or Apps) or otherwise interact with public areas of the Sites or Apps, such personal information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside the Sites or Apps in perpetuity. Similarly, other users will be able to view descriptions of your activity, communicate with you within our Sites or Apps, and view your profile.
  • Leverage Payments. We may share your information with our Finance Partners and other necessary third parties to facilitate the financial transactions and services provided through Leverage Payments. This sharing is based on the performance of a contract between you and us, and/or your consent to this sharing.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We ensure that AI service providers adhere to our strict data protection standards, and no data processed by these services is used for AI training or retained after processing, in compliance with our privacy policies.

8. How do we collect information from minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Sites or Apps, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Sites or Apps. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. You will then be removed from the marketing email list - however, we will still need to send you service- related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account. 10. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. 11. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
